Abstract
The strong tectonic activity on the eastern edge of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, for the deformation structure of soft sediments caused by paleoseismic can also reflect the strength of regional tectonic activity to a large extent, especially the information of the same period of fracture activity can be better reflected. Therefore, detailed study of the seismic rocks is important for the analysis of the intensity and even the period of regional paleotectonic activity, and also helps to recover the paleotectonic activity and solve the problems of paleotectonics, paleofracture, paleobasin, palaeoenvironment and the comparative time and tectonic action of stratigraphy in the same tectonic zone. As a new type of sedimentology, tremorite enriches the theory of sedimentology. It can help to reconceptualize and explain the causes of soft sediment vibrational liquefaction and deformation structures, and correctly explain, clarify and distinguish controversial issues such as non-seismogenic rock types and depositional environments.
